I left Miami in May of 1964 to work at the World's Fair. It was there, at the Avis Pavilion, that I met my future husband. We have been married 37 years now. We have two daughters and two grandchildren. My husband is retired from a career in Communications he learned while in the Navy. I have been working in the Healthcare Industry for 25 years now.
We often think of moving back to Florida when we retire. That subject is still up for discussion since the grandkids, of whom I'm extremely fond, reside in New York. I'm also quite fond of New York City which offers visits to Museums, the Botanical Gardens, Broadway plays and my most recent quest, art lessons. Now we are looking forward to summer vacation in the Green Mountains of Vermont. This family reunion takes place every summer and has been going on for the past 35 years. Friends and relatives come from all over just so we can be together and talk about what's been going on in the past year. It's wonderful to see how generation after generation keeps coming back and how big the family has grown.
This is the reason I cannot attend the 40th class reunion although at first I thought I could. It is wonderful to see everyone's current pictures linked to their high school pictures. I am impressed how organized the committee is and how much work they have put into this venture and I hope everyone has an absolute blast!
