<p><b>After graduation I attended Miami Dade Jr. College and realized that I had no Idea what I wanted to study. So, I joined the Navy and became a deep sea diver and did a bit of travel. After that I came back to Miami and attended the University of Miami where I majored in Psychology and Sociology. I married my wife Carmen in 1968 whom I had met during my tour of duty in the Navy. </b></p>      

<p><b>After completing my studies at UM, we both attended the University of Southern Mississippi where we obtained our Ph.D in Psychology. We then moved to Naples and worked at the Community Mental Health Center there for three years. A psychologist position became available at UM/Jackson Memorial Medical Center and I was offered the position. I spent the next 31 years of my life there having held many exciting and challenging positions. </b></p>      

<p><b>I am now working 2 half days at Carlos Albizu University in the city of Doral supervising doctoral level students at their clinic which allows me to stay involved in the field and keeps me intellectually on my toes. During these years Carmen and I have been fortunate to have traveled abroad and throughout the US. Being semi-retired has so far been really good providing me with the time for exercise, reading, and for many other hobbies and interests. </b></p>
