It's hard to believe it has been forty years since we all stood in the breezeway and sang our alma mater together for the last time. The memories are not forgotten and neither are the many close and lifelong friendships that were formed during those great years. The Reunion Committee has worked diligently to provide a wonderful opportunity to again see friends who in our everyday life we may have lost contact with and to fondly remember those who are no longer with us, but will remain in our thoughts and memories forever.

I never realized as a teenager how we would someday reflect back on those years and the relationships that were formed...but who did at that age. Memories of friend's mothers making Mighty Fine chocolate pudding after school, the Youth Center, the Jahns for late night snacks, the sports, parties, etc., etc., etc. We grew up in a forgiving and exciting time. The music was reflective of our innocence and sincerity in our relationships and lives on.

The past forty years have given me an education, a family, a career, a second and third career, a vision for the next forty and all the challenges and humbling events that allow this journey to be so fulfilling.

Past forty years: UM 1966 BA. Accounting major; metal fabricating florescent light manufacturing; partner in corporate financing and equipment leasing firm; contractor to federal government agencies in financial security area. In 1979, I was appointed an Arbitrator/Mediator and continue to serve in that capacity. Past ten years: New career as an inventor in the biomedical, marine and aviation arenas.

Married in 1966; divorced in 1994. Three wonderful children: two daughters and a son. All married with a grand total now of seven incredible Grandchildren. I have the good fortune to share my passions with my Grandchildren, encouraging them about how and why inventing is so important and encouraging their bright minds to think of how they might make the world a better and safer place. I am also fortunate to share with my Grandchildren my other passion, the wonderful world of the sea. We go boating, fishing, snorkeling, and scuba diving (in the future for them) and spear fishing. I have fished competitively, mostly Florida, Bahamas, Canada, from childhood until retirement in 1991.
