I finished Auburn University with a BS and MS and taught in the School of Engineering as a faculty member for several years. I flew my first large jets in Alaska then worked as a military contract instructor and civilian test pilot before joining Northwest airlines. I've been with them for 29 years and am flying internationally. Flying was and is a real passion and I've been fortunate enough to make it a profession as well. Cathy and I have been married for nearly 20 years and we have three grown children. They are all in or close to Atlanta along with a large extended family.
